IT Tool Support Engineer

In a professional and international team, you will contribute with your IT support and process understanding skills to the success of Sonova’s state-of-the-art hearing device solutions.

Your Tasks

  • Work as a liaison between internal users and tool owners
  • Responsible for 1st/2nd level support for internal users, trouble ticket administration and dispatching
  • Delivering regular user management and authorization concepts
  • Implementation of improvements
  • Maintaining user documentation
  • Defining new requirements and preparations of new releases (interface monitoring, new version testing, process adaptation, data base clean-up)
  • Preparation and execution of training for the applications users

Your profile 

  • Bachelor’s in science, engineering, technology, math or similar
  • 1-2 years of experience in support (IT related environment) or tool administration
  • Strong customer support thinking
  • Basic experience with project administration
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Basic experience with different tools (for example Planisware, Jira, MS Project)
  • Basic skills for formulas and high-level programming (any programming language)
  • Team player with effective communication skills
  • Willingness to further develop skills
  • Experience in data consolidation
  • Training preparation and execution is a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel approx. one week per year
