8 am – 9 am
For the upcoming Chinese New Year we propose a series of meetings devoted to China, people who live there, their traditions and modernity. Step by step we will explore customs and cultural differences.
Existing for over four thousand years, Chinese civilization still amazes and fascinates us. So let’s take a look behind the monumental Chinese Wall and face the stereotypes.
During the breakfast you will learn, among other things:
- Why is China called the Middle Kingdom?
- How Chinese maps represent Europe?
- Why is there no Facebook or Google in China?
- What does a Chinese computer keyboard look like?
- Do so-called average Chinese people exist in China?
- Why do Chinese people not take credits?
We will also learn how to count to ten in Chinese.
The New Year’s atmosphere will be introduced by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, Romanist, passionate about the Far East, winner of a ‘Knowledge of France’ competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.
The meeting will be held in Polish.
