We cordially invite you to the May edition of the Finance & Tax Forum, whose content partner will be PwC Polska. The event will take place online on May 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM. During the meeting, PwC experts will present the topic:
Subsidies and tax breaks as an opportunity for the development of enterprises.
The year 2021 is a transition year when it comes to the European Union budget, and thus the funds available for entrepreneurs and the public sector in the form of subsidies. This year starts a new financial perspective for 2021-2027. But what does it mean in practice for entrepreneurs, citizens and public institutions? When will they realistically be able to apply for grants for projects that interest them?
As part of the meeting, we will provide information on the shape of EU funds for 2021-2027, at what stage is their approval and when they will be distributed in Poland. In addition, we will discuss the areas of support under the National Reconstruction Plan, from which funds are to go to Poland this year.
Regardless of the subject of the grants, we will present the source of financing the company’s operations in the form of tax reliefs. They include areas such as CIT exemption in connection with new investments (Polska Strefa Inwestycji), as well as tax relief for research, development and innovation activities (R&D relief and IP Box). We will also introduce you to the planned new tax breaks for robotization and prototypes. It is a continuation of the plan to support research and development and innovative activities in Poland, thanks to compensating for the risk of innovative activities undertaken by entrepreneurs.
The event will be hosted by:
Grzegorz Kuś, Senior Manager in the PwC State Aid team, attorney-at-law and tax advisor, tax relief expert
Barbara Brzezińska, Manager in the PwC State Aid team, expert in the field of EU funds.
