On June, 9 we had the pleasure of organising the XXVIII General Meeting of Members of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce at Roche. Official welcome was made by the host of the event: Irma Veberič, General Manager, Roche Polska. The Meeting was chaired by the President of the Chamber, Michał Stępień.
The guest of honour was Marc Bruchez, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Switzerland in Poland, who presented the most important initiatives implemented by the Embassy, including joint projects with the Chamber.
Following this, a panel discussion took place „A healthy employee, a strong company. Why did we give the team 8 hours for medical checkups?”. The moderator of the panel was Marta Just, Corporate Affairs Head, Sandoz Polska. The panel participants were: Irma Veberič, General Manager, Roche Polska; Victoria Tian, Country President, Novartis Poland and Karolina Demus, Country President, Sandoz Polska. The topic of the discussion was „ Preventive Leave – 8hours for checkups”, which was inaugurated in late April by the Chamber and three member companies: Novartis, Roche and Sandoz. During the General Meeting, the activities in 2025 were summarised, as well as the planned events and projects in 2026. The budget and financial statements were also approved. The representatives of the member companies then elected the Board of Directors for the next term 2026-2028:

The members of the Board elected a president and vice-presidents from among their group. Karolina Demus, Sandoz Polska was elected President for the next term, and the Vice Presidents are: Maciej Sieczka, Endress+Hauser; Marek Szymański; Victoria Tian, Novartis and Irma Veberič, Roche.
The General Assembly also elected the members of the Audit Committee:

During the meeting the President of the Chamber, Michał Stępień expressed his gratitude to Emilian Dziemiańczuk (Roche, Audit Committee) and Philipp Brunner (Stadler, Board Member) for representing the Chamber and their active participation in the Chamber’s activities. At the end of the meeting, on behalf of the Management Board and the Chamber’s team, the Managing Director of the Chamber thanked Michał Stępień, the President of the Chamber for his leadership, vision, and commitment throughout the past six years.
