BALAJCZA undertook simultaneous interpreting during the UK-Poland Science Forum, organised by the British Embassy Warsaw and the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The event took place on 13-14 September in Warsaw.
The Forum was dedicated to cooperation among the representatives of scientific communities, Centres for Technology Transfer, and institutions promoting development and implementing new innovative solutions in Poland and in the UK. It offered an opportunity to show how much had already been achieved due to cooperation between Poland and the UK in science and innovation. It was a starting point for new forms, areas and methods of cooperation.
The Forum marked the culmination of the PL-UK Year of Entrepreneurship, Science and Innovation (YESI). The initiative was launched in December 2017 by Prime Ministers Mateusz Morawiecki and Theresa May as part of the bilateral intergovernmental consultations aiming to further promote the cooperation between Poland and the UK, also in the field of science and innovation. Representatives from both countries participated in the Forum. The topics discussed included cooperation within the scope of science, innovation and creation of friendly ecosystems, both today and in the future.
