We warmly invite you to a special pre-Christmas online breakfast, “An Intercultural Look at Christmas”, on Thursday, 18 December at 8:00 a.m.
It turns out that many traditions we tend to think of as “ours”, typically Polish, are in fact a fascinating mosaic of influences from many different cultures and historical periods.
During the webinar, we will explore the origins of Christmas customs such as:
- sending Christmas cards
- buying Advent calendars
- setting up Nativity scenes
- putting hay under the tablecloth
- baking gingerbread cookies
- kissing under the mistletoe
The meeting will be held by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, romanist, passionate about the Far East, and winner of the Knowledge about France Competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.
