The SMART path is one of the most attractive competitions for entrepreneurs planned under the European Funds for Modern Economy (FENG) programme. Both SMEs and large companies can apply for grants from the competition, the budget is EUR 4.36 billion, and the first call for proposals starts on February 21 this year.
As part of the competition, entrepreneurs can obtain funding for R&D works and investment implementation of innovations (two obligatory modules). It will also be possible to obtain funds as part of optional modules, including e.g. development of R&D infrastructure, internationalization, development of competences of employees and company managers, digitization and greening of business operations.
During the webinar we will cover the following issues:
- How does the SMART Path differ from the well-known NCBiR Fast Track?
- When and under what conditions can you apply for support?
- Which institutions are responsible for its implementation and do similar rules apply in both?
- What is and what is the conditional grant mechanism?
- What elements should be taken into account when creating the project concept, especially if we want to use more modules?
- What risks are associated with the implementation of multi-module projects?
- Where to look for other savings, i.e. relief for innovative activity
