On-line workshop with BALAJCZA – “Mental Health – HOW TO FIND PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT”

Tuesday, 31 January 2023
11 am-12 pm

Although World Mental Health Day is celebrated on October 10th, and it’s only January, taking care of our mental health should be important every day of the year. We live, to say the least, in dynamic times of change and broad emotional and social development. Until recently, mental health was not only an avoided subject, but also a misunderstood phenomenon. Few people took care of their mental health through psychotherapy. In turn, many were scared to try such services and rejected them.

However, the pandemic, the recession, and recent geopolitical events have changed the perception of taking care of mental health. It’s no longer seen as a source of shame nor as an imaginary luxury.

It’s time to once and for all change our perception of helping ourselves and others. We have to openly say to ourselves: “We are emotional beings, with an amazing psyche. It’s part of our responsibility for ourselves and our development to seek help from a specialist when we feel that we need it.”

What will you learn during this webinar?

  1. How do we define mental health and what is mental hygiene?
  2. When should you turn to a coach and when to a therapist? How is one different from the other?
  3. How can you recognize that you need help?
  4. How should you look for the right specialist for you?
