11 am-12 pm
Communication over the Internet is fundamentally different from our everyday, real-life communication. On the Internet, we usually do not see our interlocutor, their facial expression and gestures or even hear the timbre and tone of their voice. Internet communication has developed its own characteristics and is largely governed by its own laws.
Of course, these law are controlled on an ongoing basis (for example by netiquette, which is a set of standards, responsibilities and rules of behaviour on the Internet). Nevertheless, we can safely say that both Internet communication and the relationships established on-line (private and business alike) are characterised by certain properties.
During the workshop we will learn, among others:
- what mistakes to avoid,
- what polite expressions are used,
- how to compose concise messages,
- how to take care of the technical details.
The meeting will be hosted by Ms Olga Marek-Kostrzewska, a Polish language teacher at the Lingua Polonica school, and a marketing and PR specialist by profession. She built her experience working for companies such as Benefit Systems and at numerous marketing conferences.
The meeting will be held in Polish.
