The Museum of Warsaw Rising and Fotoplastikon Warszawski invite to the exhibition of three-dimensional photos of Switzerland of 1960s. from the collection of Fotoplastikon, which will be open to visitors from 26th April 2012, Tuesday to Saturday at 10:00 – 18:00 in Fotoplastikon Warszawski in Al. Jerozolimskie 51.
The exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Embassy of Switzerland in Poland.
Stereoscopic journey of unknown photographer shows Switzerland of 1960s. In the fourty-seven pictures the author captured the beauty of towns’ architecture, their inhabitants, combined with alpine landscapes, lakes and rivers, at which the most canton cities of Switzerland are located: Zurich, Geneva, Lausanne or Bern. The pictures present among others: the famous Clock Tower in Bern, the ruins of Roman amphitheater in Avenches, the promenade at Reuss river in Lucerne and the narrow streets of Lausanne around the St. Laurent Church. The photos make up an interesting picture of Switzerland of 1960s. You can see the above mentioned pictures and many other in Fotoplastikon Warszawski from 26th April 2012.
