8 am-9 am
Belgium is often associated mainly with Brussels and is rarely a travel destination in its own right. It’s more of a stopover on the way to France or the Netherlands. Wallonia in particular—less promoted than Flanders—tends to stay off most travel radars. Meanwhile, the region offers striking variety: from castles and caves to picturesque rivers and hills, and charming towns rich in local culture.
We invite you to an online Breakfast on 20 November at 8:00 a.m., titled “Belgium Unseen – Discovering Wallonia.”
During the webinar you will learn, among other things:
- Why does “la Wallonie” start with a “W”?
- How many official languages are there in Belgium?
- Which city has earned the nickname “the Pearl of the Meuse”?
- What counts as a linguistic faux pas in Belgium?
- Which structure did Napoleon call “the mound of Europe’s termites”?
- How many giant saxophones adorn the streets of Dinant?
The meeting will be held by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, romanist, passionate about the Far East, and winner of the Knowledge about France Competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.
The meeting will be held in Polish.
