Online breakfast with BALAJCZA – „ CNY – How to Prepare for the Year of the Horse”

Thursday, 19 February 2026

8 am-9 am

Chinese culture and traditions are fascinating in their richness and complexity. Why is the New Year celebrated in February this year? Why are people in China making as many as 3 billion trips right now, while business activity slows down for several weeks? We will explore the specifics of this unique period during our online breakfast event: “CNY – How to Prepare for the Year of the Horse”, to which we warmly invite you on Thursday, 19 February at 8:00 a.m.

Among many interesting insights, you will learn:

  • how to plan the CNY period in business
  • what the Little New Year is
  • how to “bribe” the Kitchen God
  • why you should “sweep away the dust” with an old broom
  • whether it is worth travelling to China during CNY
  • what the upcoming Year of the Fire Horse foretells

We kindly ask participants to wear something red.

The meeting will be held by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, romanist, passionate about the Far East, and winner of the Knowledge about France Competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.

The meeting will be held in Polish.
