Synergy and Security

The workshop aims to discuss issues of high-risk areas in the operation of companies, and look at how risk can be eliminated, mitigated or transferred to the insurance market. Financial security is associated with the regularity of tax, legal, and insurance aspects. Specialists in particular areas will explain what risk management is, and how to use this tool to minimise the most common risks. Members of the corporate bodies of companies will be able to listen to expert advice on assuming their responsibilities in tax, accounting and legal areas, and will learn how to transfer some of the burden of this responsibility on to the insurance market.
Risk mapping is a common element of the prevention policy in international companies. We would like to show Polish companies that it is an important element of business management, and that investment in risk management pays off. In addition, we will talk about innovative products such as weather insurance – says Alexander L. Konopka, president of the management board of Gras Savoye Polska.
The workshop on financial security, held under the patronage of Puls Biznesu, is the next initiative of the partners of the Synergy Project. The project was launched in June of this year, at a lecture of Professor A. Davila IESE Business School on innovation in enterprises. – The primary aim of our project is to provide effective services to our clients, and to support them both in the on-going management of the company and with the challenges associated with implementing new projects. Initiatives on a larger scale allow us to bring our efforts closer to a wider audience – says Michel Kiviatkowski, managing partner of Mazars.
The partners of Synergy recently met with representatives of Polish and foreign companies at the Economic Forum in Krynica. Among the companies and public authorities there, they discussed issues of innovation and its promotion. – As partners in the Synergy Project, we support companies in their innovative challenges. During the workshop we would like to focus on how our know-how can help to reduce financial risks for both companies and their managers – summarised Dariusz Tokarczuk, managing partner of Gide Loyrette Nouel.

The workshops will be held on 16-17 November 2010 at Hotel Le Meridien Bristol in Warsaw. Registration is through the site located here.
