For the second year in a row, we were a partner of the European Economic Congress, which this year took place from April 22 to 24 in Katowice. The Chamber together with the following Swiss companies ABB, Nestlé, Endress+Hauser, Novartis, Roche, Sandoz, Sika and Wetrok were present at the joint stand Swiss Point in the prestigious VIP zone. It was a place for meetings and discussions for our partners.
On April, 22 a panel discussion was held „Forum of international cooperation: Poland-Switzerland” with the participation of representatives of our member companies.
During the panel, we discussed competitiveness, ESG, resilience, and supply chains. The meeting was opened by Ulrich Schwendimann and H.E. Ambassador of Switzerland to Poland, Filliez Fabrice. The session was divided into two discussions. In the first one Industrial symbiosis – collaboration between companies in the spirit of the circular economy took part: Katarzyna Komulainen, Michal Powroznik, Aneta Sacharczuk-Otto and Mariusz Szwagrzyk. In the second part The impact of a Swiss multinational on the Polish economy. Social impact. Innovation. Resilience. took part Grzegorz Byszewski PhD, Karolina Demus, Victoria Tian and Aleksander Wasilewski. The discussion was moderated by Jakub Lachert, journalist from wnp.pl.
