Under the Green Deal the European Union is about to approve the European Sustainable Products Regulation (in short ESPR), which will introduce four elements and enter into force in January 2027:
- Eco-design rules and performance criteria for products brought onto the EU market
- Digital Product Passport (DPP) as a key to access, share and enrich product data along the value chain
- Green public procurement goals for these products
- Prevention of destruction of unsold goods for some of these products
The ESPR also paves the way for the revised Construction Products Regulation (in short revCPR), which will extend the reach of the ESPR further into the construction sector.
In this webinar we will dive into the ESRP regulation and outline what product families it will encompass, what it might mean in detail, based on use cases, and in real life applications.
