Online breakfast with BALAJCZA – “Canada, Part 3 – Under the Maple Leaf”

Thursday, 6 April 2023

8 am-9 am

We are all familiar with Canada’s flag, but do we know the reasons why Canadians chose the maple leaf as their national symbol? The maple leaf can be found on coins, in the logos of many Canadian companies and sports teams, and as a certification mark on products equivalent to “Made in Canada.”

Please join us for our Online Breakfast on Thursday, April 6 at 8:00 a.m. This will be another meeting dedicated to the picturesque beauty of nature entitled “Canada, Part 3 – Under the Maple Leaf”.

You will find out, among other things:

  • how maple syrup is made
  • when the maple leaf appeared on the Canadian flag
  • which Canadian waterfall is taller than Niagara Falls
  • which tree was used to make riffle flasks and… violins
  • what weather phenomenon is called “l’été indien” (Indian summer)
  • whether it’s worth adding maple syrup to your daily diet

The meeting will be held by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, romanist, passionate about the Far East, and winner of the Knowledge about France Competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.

Partner of the meeting: Sietar Polska

The meeting will be held in Polish.
