8 am-9 am
The differences separating the Far East from the Western world are so profound that sometimes we may get the impression that we come from different galaxies. In one of those cultures, life is based on friendship and a balance of services, meanwhile in the other – on the rule of law.
We would like to invite you to the continuation of our meeting about the clash of cultures, which will take place on Thursday, May 20 at 8:00 am. This will be the second part of the presentation “East meets West: cross-cultural differences through the eyes of Asians”.
We will answer questions such as:
- Since when do people eat with chopsticks in the Far East?
- Why should we not treat a Chinese to a cheese sandwich?
- What does food mean to Asians?
- Why do well-mannered Asians not say exactly what they think?
- What cannot be missed in Chinese trains?
- Why is the world a “line” in the Western culture and a “sphere” in the Far East?
The meeting will be held by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, romanist, passionate about the Far East, and winner of the Knowledge about France Competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.
The meeting will be held in Polish.
