Online breakfast with BALAJCZA – “Hungary – visiting the country of our brothers, part 2”

Thursday, 17 November 2022
8 am-9 am

When we think of Hungary, an old saying about Polish-Hungarian friendship comes to mind and we usually think of the country of our “brothers” with sympathy. And what comes to mind when we think of Hungarian cuisine?

We invite you to our second meeting dedicated to Hungary. This

time it is going to be very tasty. We will talk about typical Hungarian dishes, advise you on where to go for coffee, and introduce you to holiday traditions, including culinary ones.

Come and find out:

  • if you can actually eat “Hungarian-style pie” in Hungary
  • are tokaj and bull’s blood the only Hungarian wines worth tasting
  • where is the best place to drink coffee in Budapest
  • who leaves presents under the Hungarian Christmas tree

The meeting about Hungary and everyday life in Budapest will be hosted by:

Emilia Kovalcsik – intercultural trainer and coach. Emilia spent 16 years leading teams and projects as a finance specialist in multinational companies. During her career, she has been a project manager, business analyst, and financial manager.

She has worked as an independent coach and trainer since 2020. Emilia supports ambitious and young managers in developing their leadership skills, helping them increase their mental resilience, find confidence and joy in their work, and recognize and build on their strengths.

In her work as a trainer, she conducts workshops on cross-cultural work, feedback, values, management and communication.

Emilia has been living and working in Budapest for 15 years, getting to know the culture and language of the country and what it’s like to live in a multilingual family and an international environment.
