8 am-9 am
Koreans, even when compared to Far East Asians, are more conservative, introverted and reserved than other nations. It is all the more difficult to penetrate their mentality and understand the motives of their behaviour, which is often perceived as exaggerated by Europeans.
We are going to look at the customs of Koreans during the upcoming, second meeting about this culture. Join us for our online breakfast “South Korea – the land of extreme sensations” on Thursday, October 7 from 8:00 to 9:00 am.
We’ll talk about:
- why the Koreans weren’t allowed to save their burning house,
- why they hadn’t been allowed to wash themselves or change their clothes for three years,
- why they now organise “trial funerals” and lay down in coffins while they are still alive,
- when young Koreans go to study in China,
- what extreme tourist attractions South Korea provides.
The meeting will be held by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specialised in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager experienced in foreign trade, romanist, passionate about the Far East, and winner of the Knowledge about France Competition organised by PR III radio and France Inter.
The meeting will be held in Polish.
