BALAJCZA celebrates its 4th anniversary

It gives us the utmost pleasure to announce that BALAJCZA will celebrate its 4th anniversary on 15 March 2014. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our Customers and Translators without whom success would have been unattainable. We are glad to see that our efforts are helping Customers in their business processes.

BALAJCZA was set up by Timea Balajcza – a Hungarian who has been residing in Poland for a number of years. It was her initiative that gave rise to the agency as foreign languages are one of her great passions. Timea has “native” level command of four languages (Hungarian, Polish, English and French) and knows full well how important the ability to communicate is in today’s world. In fulfilling her desire to help people communicate with the rest of the world, she decided to establish BALAJCZA, a translations agency.

Right from the outset, we provided translations, interpreting as well as comprehensive conference services and as off last year we’ve added one to one Business English tuition to our range of products. Initially, our most common translation languages were English, French, Spanish and German. Shortly after we expanded the scope of our languages and began accepting orders for all world languages. Today BALAJCZA is a well established, international company. We work with customers both in Poland and abroad. For 2 years now BALAJCZA has been a member of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce.

On account of BALAJCZA’s 4th anniversary we are announcing a competition, which entails participants writing a poem about our company. However, the task is going to be made more difficult by the fact that the works has to include the following words: BALAJCZA, ANNIVERSARY, TRANSLATIONS, HUNGARY and be at least 8 verses long.

The best poem will be published on www.balajcza.pl as well as our Facebook page and the forthcoming Fanletter. Its author will receive a MYSTERY PRIZE.
The deadline for submitting your works is the end of this week, i.e. 14 March. Please send your poems to: timea.balajcza@balajcza.pl

We are looking forward to receiving your entries!

Outlook for 2014

Where is 2014 mostly likely leading us?

Recent economic figures tend to point towards an improving economic environment and
macroeconomic expansion for most countries. Europe’s main economies are growing again, albeit at low speed. There is a clear distinction visible between the Anglo-Saxon countries (USA, UK) with better prospects for expansion and the continental European areas with a slower pace on the path of growth. On December 18, the US FED finally began the long discussed process or “tapering” by gradually reducing its monthly purchase of USD 85b in US Treasury and Mortgage securities while simultaneously signaling that “a highly accommodative stance of monetary policy will remain appropriate for a considerable time after asset-purchase program ends” and as long as the unemployment rate remains above 6.5% and inflation projections one to two years ahead are below 2.5%.

You can read the full version of the outlook in the document attached below.
