5th Swiss-Polish Roundtable

On 6th November in Switzerland took place the 5. Polish-Swiss Roundtable. Cross Border Business in the Digital Age. Best Practices from Healthtech and Beyond.

The Polish-Swiss Roundtable aimed to bring together companies from Switzerland and Poland (ICT and Health Tech) to get to know each other and explore possibilities of exchange, collaboration and partnerships.

On 4th October in AC by Marriott, Wroclaw took place the next CEOs Meeting. The event was co-organized by bilateral chambers: Belgian, French, German, Netherlands and Scandinavian.

Western Union was the Partner of the event. Its representative, Agnieszka Durlej (Country Manager) held a presentation on Are you ready for 2019? Currency management in times of change.

Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue

On 5th October Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Embassy have organised Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue for the eighth time. The topic of this year’s edition was “Outcome-Based Healthcare (OBHC) as a catalyst for innovation in healthcare”.

The meeting was opened by Jürg Stephan Burri, the Ambassador of the Swiss Embassy that gave the floor to the Minister of Health, Łukasz Szumowski.

After the official welcome we had a pleasure to hear presentation of Dr Gerhard Pfister on “Global trends in healthcare- Switzerland as an example”, Dr Małgorzata Gałązka-Sobotka on “What is value-based healthcare and what kind of tools it employs?” and Prof. Beat Mueller on “A user-oriented hospital benchmarking that actually helps our patients – is that possible?”.

In the second part of the meeting a panel discussion moderated by Joanna Bekker, Business Development Director, Polityka Insight was held with the following guests from Poland and Switzerland:

•    Dr Gerhard Pfister, Member of the Swiss National Council and Social Security and Health Committee. President of the Swiss-Polish Parliamentary Group

Speed Business Meeting

On 18th September 2019 in Krakow Technology Park took place a Speed Business Meeting. The event has been organised in cooperation with other bilateral chambers: Belgian, French, German, Netherlands and Scandinavian.

This time, we’ve decided to change the form of the meeting a little bit which was possible thanks to the unique design of KTP’s showroom. Conversations were held, among others, in a dinghy!

Later on, there was a networking cocktail with wine tasting.

On 18th September 2019 in Krakow Technology Park took place a Speed Business Meeting. The event has been organised in cooperation with other bilateral chambers: Belgian, French, German, Netherlands and Scandinavian.

Swiss Pavilion at Energetab 2018

On 11-13 September in Bielsko-Biała we had an opportunity to participate in the Energetab fair. Swiss Pavilion was organized for the ninth time. The Pavilion is a joint initiative of Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Business Hub Poland within Swiss Embassy.

This year, more than 700 exhibitors from over a dozen countries in Europe and Asia took part in the fairs.

The Pavilion (Hall A, Stand 43) included stands of the following companies:

9th International Family Picnic

The 9h International Family Picnic was held at Ludowa Altana in Rozalin on 2nd September 2018. The event was organised in cooperation with the Belgian Business Chamber, Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy and the Italian Chamber of Commerce.

Participants of the picnic had a possibility among others to check if their breakfast is well-balanced thanks to Nestle, take part in first aid workshops organized by Schiller and check their knowledge about bees and participate in games concerning good nutrition with vegetables having important role thanks to Syngenta.

Furthermore, children and adults took part in a dancing class, where they guessed dancing styles and had fun at bouncy castles and a climbing wall.
