On-line workshop with BALAJCZA – “How to beat winter depression?”

Tuesday, 19th December 2023

11 am-12 pm

What is the goal of this webinar?

For some of us, autumn and winter months can be particularly difficult and challenging. This is especially true for more sensitive people.

Days become shorter and darker, we feel the cold… We begin to spend more time at home; our feelings of loneliness and isolation may intensify, especially if we live alone. Our energy level naturally decreases and we have less motivation to get going. Some people may notice more negative thoughts in their head during this time of year, and feelings of sadness and anxiety perhaps become more frequent.

All this can lead to depression.

This webinar is for people who feel depressed in winter, as well as for those who would like to build their awareness of depression and its prevention.

There are many ways to overcome those days when we feel less motivated and notice a constant stream of negative thoughts in our head. Despite unfavourable external conditions, it is possible to keep our energy levels high and enjoy each day without worrying. And this is what this webinar is all about.

During the meeting, participants will discover a wide variety of techniques and tools to help them get through the difficult winter time, as well as through moments when they feel strong, difficult emotions.

What will you learn during the webinar?

  • You will discover fascinating facts from the field of neuroscience and psychology – you will understand how negative thoughts are created in our heads;
  • You will learn a variety of techniques designed to improve your mood and help you deal with difficult emotions;
  • How to take care of your body in the winter? What to eat to feel good in your body and cultivate a positive mindset?
  • You don’t have the opportunity to go to Tenerife in the winter – how else can you deal with the lack of sunlight? Other ways to take care of yourself in the winter;
  • You will discover how Scandinavians manage the lack of sunlight and cold weather.

EMS 4.0 Tour

The “EMS 4.0 Tour” is dedicated to industrial companies, with the aim of sharing knowledge on the subject of effective energy management. Endress+Hauser will organize seven events.

Schedule:

20.09 – Lublin – Register
21.09 – Żyrardów – Register
10.10 – Słupsk – Register
13.10 – Poznań – Register
23.10 – Wrocław – Register
24.10 – Katowice – Register
25.10 – Rzeszów – Register

During each of them, attendees will learn how to effectively measure the flow of energy media, such as gases, steam, water, compressed air, etc. Endress+Hauser will show how to identify losses and places that need to be optimized. High costs of production and potential shortages are a problem for many companies and enterprises. Implementing an energy monitoring system – EMS, is the first step to improving company profits. EMS systems also enable easier cost division within a plant, such as between departments.

Modern solutions for monitoring energy flow and consumption cannot exist without Industry 4.0 solutions. These include systems that collect and analyze large sets of data (Big Data), facilitate the detection of anomalies, and help better visualize data.

Special guests of the conference series will be Andrzej Soldaty, founder of the Future Industry Platform Foundation, and Maciej Alksnin, founder of Magma S.A.P.
