The 7. International Family Picnic was held at Rancho pod Bocianem on 4th September 2016. The event was organised in cooperation with the Belgian Business Chamber, the Commercial Section of the Austrian Embassy and the French Chamber of Industry.
During the Picnic the participants could play human table football, twister, mini-golf, football, volleyball and basketball. They had fun at climbing walls and in the rope park. For youngest guests we prepared bouncy castles, trampoline, face painting and a stand where children could bake pizza.

971 exhibitors and 17 483 visitors took part in this edition of the trade fair. Leading topic of the exhibition was “Innovation for the industry, drive for the business“.

Gudel Polska (www.gudel.com/pl) joined our initiative as well. Coffee was served by the company Jura (www.pl.jura.com).

On 16 June 2016 the 18th General Meeting of the members of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce took place. The host of the meeting was Schindler, which CEO, Paweł Wierzbicki, held a presentation on Swiss Mechanism – the history of Schindler in Poland.
Representatives of member companies chose a new Board of Directors and Audit Committee for the years 2016-2018.

It will also allow for exchanges of experiences, best practices and networking, which might encourage concrete cooperation projects in the future.

On 10th March the meeting ‘Inspiring success of Polish companies in Switzerland’ took place, which was organized in Zurich in co-operation with the Polish Professionals in Switzerland and the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Bern.
The event began with the official welcome by Jaromir Sokołowski, the Ambassador of Poland in Bern. Afterwards the following organizers of the meeting gave a speech: Wojciech Bachorski (Polish Professionals in Switzerland), Monika Ruggli (Polish-Swisschamber of Commerce) and Krzysztof Wolniarski (Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy in Bern).
The main focus of the evening were inspiring presentations of Inglot represented by Teresa Trillo-Drab and IT Kontrakt represented by Łukasz Syrnik.
