On December 2 at 11.00 am the 10th jubilee edition of the Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue began. After the welcome by the Swiss Ambassador to Poland, Mr. Jürg Burri and the President of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Michał Stępień, the conference participants had the opportunity to listen to the speakers from Poland and Switzerland:

Economic Outlook 2021 is behind us

Economic Outlook 2021 is behind us! On December 3, 2020, at 11.00, the 9th edition of the conference began.

At this year’s edition, we could listen to experts from mBank, Boyden Polska and Grant Thornton. The topic was the forecasts for 2021. both from a macroeconomic, regulatory and labor market perspective.

Their knowledge and experiences  shared with us:

Webinarium “Are sustainable solutions in construction industry a good investment?”

On November 19, the webinar Are Sustainable Solutions in Construction a Good Investment? was organized in cooperation with the member companies of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce: Geberit, Sika, WPIP and Zehnder. The event took the form of a discussion moderated by Mr. Janusz Starościk, President of the Association of Heating Appliances Producers and Importers in Poland, member of the expert group of the Swiss government agency Switzerland Global Enterprise, as well as co-creator of the TVN METEO program “Dobre Klimaty”.

Polish-Swiss Innovation Day

The 5th edition of the Polish-Swiss Innovation Day took place on 3 November 2020.

The theme of the conference was “Sustainable Mobility”. Based on examples from Switzerland and Poland, mobility experts and policy makers discussed the key role of railways for sustainable transport of people and goods and for the economic development of metropolitan areas.

Content partners were companies: Hupac, Schindler, Stadler, Value Quest.

22nd General Meeting

On 8th September 2020 the 22nd General Meeting of the members of the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce took place. The virtual host of the meeting was Ringier Axel Springer Polska.

Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue

Together with the Embassy of Switzerland in Poland we organized a webinar as part of the conference cycle Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue on Successes and challenges during COVID-19 in Switzerland and Poland. Experience gained for future potential pandemics.

During the meeting we discussed:

– What are the lessons learned? Successes and challenges during COVID-19 Crisis from a health perspective.

– What might be the consequences for pharmaceutical industry dealing with future pandemic risks?

– International and multilateral: Strategic Health Policy Implications of the COVID-19 Crisis.

Swiss Pavilion at Energetab 2020

On 15-17 September in Bielsko-Biała we had an opportunity to participate in the Energetab fair. Swiss Pavilion was organized for the eleventh time. The Pavilion is a joint initiative of Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Swiss Business Hub Central Europe within Swiss Embassy.

New Year’s Meeting

The New Year’s Meeting for the affiliated companies and friends of the Chamber was held on January, 23rd. This year’s meeting took place at Bristol Hotel in Warsaw.

The conference was opened by Ernest Pytlarczyk, Chief Economist from mBank that told us what to expect in 2020.

The keynote was followed by a panel discussion with experts from different lines of business.

The following experts took part in the discussion: Anna Grosiak (Siemens), Dr Ewa Łabno-Falęcka (Mercedes-Benz), Zbigniew Płaza (Boyden), Marek Łuczak (Syngenta) and Jan Jarmul (Deloitte). During the discussion we were talking about ecology, renewable sources of energy, economic cars and their impact on environment and employee market.

After the panel discussion we organised a networking cocktail.
