The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity

The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity has been playing for 27 years now. This year for the first time it took place in Switzerland, collecting money for medical equipment for children’s hospitals in Poland.

In order to support Jurek Owsiak’s foundation, two Polish organisations joined forces: Polish Executives Switzerland and Polish Professionals Switzerland.

Thanks to generous sponsors it was possible to organise such a wonderful finale  with music shows, Polish food, auctions and attractions for children.

1700 people participated in the event throughout the whole day. It wouldn’t have been possible without sponsors: VS Consulting, PolishShop, MyHealth, Ricola, Frey, VisionApartments and JobsToday.World.

During the grand finale over 27 000 CHF have been collected but the counting is not over yet. Special thanks to the Polish Immigrant Community in Switzerland for their remarkable participation and support.
