We translate into the language of benefits… 20% off!

The year 2020 has brought many unexpected challenges, which are tackled by each company differently – it often means setting priorities and making difficult decisions.

When we need translation, we are often torn apart – we have to bear the costs in mind and carry out the tasks at the same time.

What if we didn’t have to choose? If we didn’t have to wait for months just to finally delete another item from our to-do list?

In BALAJCZA we know that every company is unique and has particular needs, so we offer you a discount on every order – financial, legal, technical or marketing.

We are different, yet there is something that unites us all… We all speak the language of benefits!

Therefore, in November and December 2020, we encourage you to use a 20% discount on translations from any field. There is no need to postpone this decision again, here price is the priority.

This way, you will be able to work on your translation without any delay, the costs will not get out of control and you will say goodbye to this difficult year with peace of mind!

The promotion was prepared especially for the companies which together with us co-create the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce.

INFO: visit the event website

ARE YOU AFRAID OF ACTIVE AND PASSIVE ATTACKS ON YOUR IOT DEVICES?

In the 3rd part of the IoT Security webinar, we’ll cover the topics related to hardening the shell of IoT device – our proverbial nut – against attempts to compromise its content.

At the end of the day, even the most modern and connected instruments are just “things”, and that physical aspect opens up a lot of malicious opportunities. However, we are far from defenseless against attackers. Understanding their way of thinking allows us to design and implement countermeasures and remedies to all known types of attack technics.

We will focus on security mechanisms at both the physical and software level of a single device and prove that you don’t have to be hopeless while facing the dangerous world of active and passive attacks.

AGENDA:
• Retrospective – the power of physical access
• Secure coding style – the forgotten ally
• Glue logic vs reverse engineering
• Electrical Aegis vs physical attacks
• Blinding vs side-channel attacks
• Hardware & software alliance vs fault & injection attacks

ORGANIZER:
This webinar is organized by the Embedded Competency Center, unit operating as part of Sii Poland company – the award-winning IT, engineering, and BPO services provider employing over 4 800 EU-based experts.

Online breakfast with BALAJCZA – Get to know France

We will spend the next “Online breakfast” in a French atmosphere. We invite you to the meeting “Get to know France”. It is addressed not only to croissant and brioche lovers. Getting to know the French through their culinary tastes will also help to better understand their specific mentality. Because cuisine in France is not only the art of gastronomy, it is Art de vie – the art of living.

“You will know a good man by how much he eats”, used to say the greatest gourmet of France, Sun King, Louis XIV. But how was he doing, with all his teeth pulled out by court doctors?

You’ll also find out:

* At what time one shouldn’t go to a restaurant in France?
* Why are the French the slimmest people in Europe?
* How to cook green peas in English and French style?
* Who do we owe the strawberries to?
* What does a tire tycoon have to do with Michelin stars?
* How does French family law treat women?

And during our QUIZ, you’ll learn the savoir vivre concerning the French cheese board.

The French atmosphere will be introduced to you by Kamila Radzyńska – business coach, specializing in intercultural communication, member of SIETAR Polska, R&D Manager with practice in foreign trade, romanticist, passionate about the Far East, winner of a Knowledge about France Competition organized by radio PR III and France Inter.
The meeting will be held in Polish.

What will we discuss?
Decades after emerging from under IT’s wing, the cybersecurity profession has matured. As we emerge from the pandemic, cyber stands at a critical, pivotal, exciting time for the industry and the organisations and people it serves. This is evidenced by our latest Global Digital Trust Insights 2021.

Our findings from the survey of 3,249 businesses and technology executives around the world tell us what’s changing and what’s next in cybersecurity. Key findings include:
• 50% of say that they bake cybersecurity and privacy into every business decision.
• 55% of business and IT leaders report increasing cyber budgets in 2021.
• 56% rated a ransomware attack as likely or very likely over the next year, and 58% said the consequences would be negative.
• 51% businesses are making plans to increase their cybersecurity headcount in the next 12 months.

What does this mean for Central and Eastern Europe?

COVID-19 accelerated the adoption of cyber security solutions and forced companies to take a bolder approach. Often faced with older infrastructure and scepticism, we are seeing new rapid acceleration of cybersecurity solutions in our region as a result of the pandemic.

Our panel of PwC experts and special guests will discuss the future of cybersecurity in CEE, interpret the survey results for our region, and share our own stories of structuring cyber practices.

Please register your interest in taking part, and explore the Digital Trust Insights findings in the meantime.

We hope you will join us!

Best regards

Vitra Summit 2020

This year has radically changed our perception of space: We started avoiding places we share with strangers or any environment that could subject us to chance encounters. We were ordered to remain in our homes by governments worldwide. Companies were forced into the mass experiment of remote working. Our homes suddenly became a place in which to work, spend time with the family, learn, celebrate, grieve and more – all at the same time.

Over the two days of the Vitra Summit, a streaming event hosted online on 22 and 23 October, Vitra intends to go beyond the obvious implications. Vitra believes that surroundings continually shape our thoughts and feelings. Interior spaces can shift corporate cultures, lift spirits and impact the wellbeing of their inhabitants. We invite you to reflect with us on how to future-proof environments – at home, in the office and on the go.

Join us for two days of interactive, digital exchange, with scientific findings, know-how and best practices related to the future of shared spaces.

Economic translation – one solution, two benefits!

Economic translation is a service variant that allows you to have two seemingly contradictory needs:

1. keeping the financial burden under control
2. receiving the required translation

It is an ideal solution when you need non-specialized translation, initial text for further work or translation for informal use.

There is no need to postpone the decision, when the price is the priority – the translation will be provided and the related tasks can be performed as usual with low outlay.

The economic variant is one of the several possible translation options that will allow you to ideally match the parameters of the service to your requirements.

To translate or not to translate? – we have the answer to this question!
