Tuesday, 6 December 2022

11 am-12 pm

With Christmas just around the corner, it’s a good excuse to slow down, wrap yourself in your favourite blanket, take a mug of warm tea and ask yourself a few questions with us:

  • Can the Nordic way of relaxation work in Poland?
  • How do the Swedes, Danes and Finns seek work-life balance and what can we learn from them?
  • Why does the whole world admire the Danish concept of hygge?
  • How about choosing Swedish lagom or Finnish kalsarikännit?

Małgorzata Musińska-Kubis, who lived and worked in Sweden for almost 7 years – first at the Polish Embassy in Stockholm as a diplomat and then in business, will talk about Nordic ways to relax and find balance in life. Małgorzata currently lives in Warsaw, where she works for a Polish chemical company in the supply chain division. She combines her work with her passion – she is also a Business and Intercultural Competence Coach, works with the Swedish-Polish Chamber of Commerce in Stockholm, is a SIETAR Member and records podcasts.

In my humble opinion, success of each great hotel is not only about exquisite interior design and comfort, but above all, it is about the ability to listen to the unspoken needs of hotel guests. It is thanks to our attitude, kindness and unconditional commitment to service excellence that Polonia Palace Hotel enjoys the position of a landmark hotel in Warsaw.

When guests decide to come back to the hotel for the next time, it is because the hotel experience was able to evoke unforgettable memories, which would often stay within them for the rest of their life. One may say that these thrilling emotions are second to none, comparable only with the time when you reach for your beloved book or revisit your favourite movie.

The « Heritage Hotel of the Year 2022 Award » resonates to a large extent with our vision and mission statements. This is how our employees embrace hospitality – with a strong sense of continuity coming from our DNA.
